This Privacy Policy describes how Race of Mobs ("the Game", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

• Email address — collected when you register with an email/password account. Used solely for authentication and account recovery.
• Username — chosen by you during onboarding. Displayed in-game (e.g. leaderboards, gang chat).

Gameplay Data

• In-game progress: level, experience, cash balance, race results, unlocked cars and parts.
• Gang membership and gang chat messages.
• PvP rating and race history.
• Job activity and completion timestamps.

Device Information

• A device-level token is used to deliver push notifications (e.g. energy refill reminders, job completion alerts). This token is not shared with third parties.
• We do not collect device identifiers (IMEI, advertising ID) beyond what is required for push notifications.

Guest Users

• If you play as a Guest, an anonymous session is created. No email address is collected. Your username and in-game progress are stored on our servers for the duration of your session.
• Guest progress is tied to the device session and may be lost if you uninstall the app or clear app data without converting to a full account.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and maintain your game account and progress.
• To authenticate you securely via Supabase Auth.
• To send optional push notifications you have explicitly enabled.
• To display usernames in multiplayer features (PvP, gang chat).
• To prevent cheating and enforce fair-play rules.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on our private server infrastructure. We use industry-standard security measures including row-level security policies and server-side validation to protect your data. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs or advertising networks.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• Service providers: Our backend infrastructure (Supabase) processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Push Notifications

The Game may request permission to send push notifications. You can withdraw this permission at any time through your device's Settings > Notifications. Disabling notifications does not affect gameplay.

6. Children's Privacy

The Game is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.

8. Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and gameplay progress are permanently removed within 30 days. Guest session data may be deleted sooner if the session expires.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
